A Season of Growth at The Communications Coach

It’s been one of the busiest summers I can remember. While many were taking a well-earned break, I found myself in the thick of it, working on a series of exciting developments for The Communications Coach. Now that we’re edging towards the end of August, I wanted to take a moment to reflect and share a little behind the scenes of what’s been going on.

A New Studio Space (Almost) Complete

First and foremost, we’re nearly finished creating a brand new studio space. This has been a personal dream of mine for some time now – to have a purpose-built, dedicated space for creating content, podcasting, and coaching clients.

As someone who’s spent almost two decades working in broadcasting and media, I know the value of having the right environment to create, think and communicate clearly. This new space is designed to do just that – to give myself and my clients room to breathe, experiment, and ultimately cut through the noise.

While the finishing touches are still being added, I’m already looking forward to working in this new space and using it to bring even more value to the work we do at The Communications Coach.

A New Season of Cut Through the Noise

This summer also saw us deep in production mode for the new season of Cut Through the Noise with Aisling O’Rourke. This series, which has become an integral part of my work, focuses on communication and marketing for business leaders.

For this season, we’ve chosen to take a close look at social media and how it can be used strategically, especially in the lead-up to the final quarter of the year. With the digital landscape constantly evolving, it can be hard to keep up, let alone cut through. My goal with this season is to bring listeners honest, useful insights from people working on the ground, to help business leaders use social media more effectively – without losing their heads in the process.

I’m grateful to the guests who’ve joined me so far – and I look forward to sharing their stories and expertise with you in the coming weeks.

The Clarity Collective Is Growing

Our monthly mastermind, The Clarity Collective, has also been keeping me on my toes. What started as an idea to support business owners and leaders with their communications has now become a supportive, engaged community that meets once a month online for 90 minutes, with ongoing conversation and connection in our private WhatsApp group.

Each session focuses on a different aspect of communications and marketing, with space for real-time feedback, questions, and peer learning. It’s a space for honest conversations and practical support – and I’ve found it hugely rewarding to watch our members grow in confidence and clarity each month.

If you're feeling a little stuck with your messaging, or you're struggling to find your voice in a crowded market, the Collective might be the right fit for you. Find out more here.

Looking Ahead

The summer might have been busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m proud of what we’ve built at The Communications Coach, and I’m excited for what’s ahead, not least finally getting to record in the new studio space.

To those of you who’ve supported, collaborated, shared ideas, or simply listened along, thank you. I don’t take it for granted.

If you’d like to stay up to date with the latest podcast episodes, learn more about The Clarity Collective, or be the first to see the new studio in action email me on hello@thecommunicationscoach.ie.

Let’s make the rest of 2025 count.
